If you’re a fan of the annual 9MCM pop-up market that happens at the APS showroom, you are gonna love what they have in store this year. APS is teaming up with River Valley furniture store DREAM to do The Market Hop, on Jun 4-5, bringing together design-y knick-knacks from various brands, high-end furniture and of course tons of food and drink, across the two locations
They’ve really upped their food game this year, with hot restaurants such as Peranakan temple Candlenut, Bali ribs people Naughty Nuri’s and Ko-Mex new kids Vatos Urban Tacos all setting up shop, alongside some regulars. Expect fancy wine and coffee, too. New on the shopping from this year are two vinyl booths, by Straits Records and Vinylicious. Other vendors include local design and accessories people like Kabod and The Farm Store.
Since both venues are furniture stores for the rest of the year, we’ve been promised a selection of affordable pieces also up for sale during the market. There’s also live music, the option to test-drive a MINI and maybe win a SMEG toaster.
If you’re going to hop between the two markets, there are free shuttles provided throughout the day. The Market Hop will take place Jun 4-5, 11am-7pm at APS Lifestyle Gallery (9 Muthuraman Chetty Road) and DREAM Showroom (456 River Valley Road). Admission is free. For more information, click here.
