Take part in an interactive play that’s like The Hunger Games

The previous incarnations of Oh! Open House had artists create cool artwork with tours going around to learn the heritage of the neighborhoods like Tiong Bahru, Marina Bay and Joo Chiat. This time, though, the organizers are returning to Joo Chiat with an “immersive theatrical experience” on Jan 22-24 and Jan 29-31 from 6pm.

In the interactive play, No Man’s Land, you meet a man in black at the bar, and he gives you keys to Room 426 in a hotel. When you enter the room, there are a few clues, like a bag and some photographs, as well as an unmade bed. It’s up to the group to piece together what happened, and learn about the history of the area along the way. While the organizers are keeping mum on the plot, they divulged that it was something like “The Hunger Games” except that no one gets killed (duh). Viewers will also confront issues like racism, and have to separate fact from fiction.
