Yes, you heard right—Korean American funnywoman Margaret Cho is coming to Singapore. Part of The Psycho Tour, Cho will be at the Kallang Theatre on Mar 5. The show starts at 8pm, and it’s about everything that Cho is mad about at the moment, ranging from police brutality, racism, sex-positivity and violence against women.
Seriously, guys, international comedians come and go in Singapore, but we think Cho is a real revolutionary. Don’t miss it. (Also, kind of curious what rating this show will get…)
Cho is known for her brutally honest comedy, and tackles difficult subjects like LGBTQ issues, body image and sexuality with both rage and disarming humor. Of course, a Margaret Cho show wouldn’t be complete without quips about growing up Asian-American and fall-to-the-floor-laughing impressions of her parents.
