Come Oct 23, chef-restauranteur Luke Mangan of Salt Grill fame will host his famed #BrunchOfFun warehouse parties that saw huge crowds in Sydney, right here in Singapore. The eatery on the 56th floor of ION Orchard will transform into an afternoon of Australian degustation, featuring brunch dishes that highlight some of Australia’s artisan suppliers, as well as popular desserts and pastries, sparkling wines and more.
Some collaborators you can look forward to are N2 Gelato, a Melbourne- and Sydney-based gelato bar that uses liquid nitrogen to freeze gelato right in front of patron’s eyes, giving an undoubtedly smoother texture as compared to usual gelatos; gourmet doughnut bakers Doughboy Doughnuts, whose fillings, icings and toppings are made from scratch, serving up indulgent flavors such as Maple Bacon (organic Canadian maple icing and caramelized bacon bits), Caramel Old Fashioned (sea salt and caramel glazed buttermilk old fashioned baked doughnut) and Peanut Buster (peanut butter and chocolate with peanut butter glaze); and more.
The main brunch event, which includes a four-course meal, free-flow Australian sparkling wine and oysters, and four dessert tokens, has already sold out. However, if you’re still keen on joining in the oh-so-Australian dessert and pastry fare, you can purchase a ticket for the three-hour party event that starts at 12pm. Get your tickets here.
