Purveyors of all-things cool and dapper, The Assembly Store has launched an e-commerce site and the temptation to shop is now closer to home. Named the “Best New Multi-Label Store” in 2014 by Monocle, their online store currently stocks 15 brands including local watch label HyperGrand, Swedish backpacks Fjallraven (which are hipster uniform staple) and Happy Socks. The site is still new, so we hope to see more brands coming on board – their physical store carries over 50 labels.
Shoppers here have to pay a flat rate of $5 for shipping within Singapore for orders below $250 and international shipping rates vary. They’re going to have to compete with certain e-commerce giants who ship to Singapore for free for orders above $50.
*Update: The Assembly now offers free delivery within Singapore (3 to 4 working days). But if you can’t wait for your parcel to arrive, there’s also the option of a $10 courier fee for express deliveries (within 1 – 2 working days).
