PARK(ing) Day is happening in Singapore this Friday

Art installations, street art, DIY activities and even pianos are taking over empty parking lots along Temple Street, Keong Saik Road, McCallum Street, Ann Siang Road, Duxton Road and Aliwal Street this Friday, Sep 18. The international event encourages people to transform parking lots into temporary public spaces for leisure and its third edition features a book swap by Books & Beer at Duxton Road from 12:00-8:00pm, piano playing sessions outside Aliwal Arts Centre from 12:00-10:00pm and drip painting sessions at Keong Saik Road from 2:00-10:00pm.

Registration for stalls and performances closes at 4:00pm today, so if you haven’t booked a spot, you’re really cutting it close. More information can be found here.
