We love browsing at Straits Records, but this month there’s yet another reason to go. Head over to the Rilek Jack market on the second floor of 24A Bali Lane. This event started on Nov 6, and happens in the evenings from Fridays to Sundays. The next and last (for now) edition is Nov 27-29. Apart from stalls and live gigs, there are artists exhibiting their work, too.
This time, there’s music from Johnny Eyeglass and Hanafie Warren, with Bouitelle Pop selling rainbow-colored drinks that look like Paddle Pop ice-cream. The Botanical Plate will hawk their own homegrown ingredients, Project Coal will sell natural dyes and Forest Child will be selling leather goods.
