Marina Bay Sands Rocks Singapore

Couldn’t afford tickets to The Rolling Stones’s 14 On Fire concert? (The tickets sold out within 2.5 hours, anyway…) Fret not—this open-to-the-public music festival will feature a free simulcast of the concert, as well as other live music performances from local rock acts, including A-List with Douglas O., Heritage, and ZulTania. March 15

Mosaic Music Festival: Cashew Chemists x 7nightsatsea x King Kong Jane

Performance Tour of Marco Polo

This performance tour, which is staged at various venues in the South-East, revolves around two blind friends who meet again after death, and attempt to figure out if they have ended up in Heaven or Hell. Catch it at Braddell Heights Community Club this weekend—visit the official website for address and schedule details. Through March 29

Reliving Haw Par Villa

Always been put off by the scary statues and dioramas adorning Haw Par Villa? Well, the free guided tours and talks (part of Singapore Tourism Board’s Tourism50 initiative) may just help you to overcome that fear. You can also indulge in local hawker fare of yesteryear at the food bazaar, or shop for vintage collectibles at the flea market. March 15-16, 22-23

Not everything during this week-long design extravaganza is free. However, there are various programmes, such as career talks, book launches and design trails, that won’t require you to fork out a single cent. See the official website for more details. Through March 16

SOUND: Latitudes and Attitudes

It’s your very last chance to catch this exciting sonic exhibition, which brings together the works of seventeen artists. Expect a roster of installations, live performances and sound scores, as well as over 16 listening stations. Through March 16

St. Patrick’s Day Street Festival

There’ll be plenty to see and do at this street festival—expect live music, dance performances and magic acts, just to name a few. There’ll also be lots of Guinness involved (though that you’ll have to pay for)—always a major plus, no matter the time of day. March 14-16

The Swimmers

Angki Purbandono’s very creative and colorful artworks comprise 78 scanographies of objects like candy wrappers. Fun fact: these pieces were made during his ten-month stint in the Yogyakarta Narcotics Penitentiary. Through March 23
