EXHIBITION
More than 30 local and international artists and designers will be showcasing objects made from dismantled existing toys at Kult’s new show, Choking Hazard: An Exhibition about Toys, which explores controversial issues in the world of toy-making, like mass production, consumerism and gender. TALK
Here’s your chance to meet Singapore’s Sticker Lady a.k.a. Sam Lo (SKL0), who recently released the postcard book Greetings from Singapore  features some of her street artwork. During the session, she’ll discuss her book, her love for cats and give you an exclusive preview of her upcoming work. (She’s also super dreamy.) Feb 17

SPORT
Fans of UBO boxing should catch The Roar of Singapore, where a whopping four titles will be up for grabs. Canadian light heavyweight Ryan “The Real Deal” Ford will be going glove to glove with Kiwi Sam “The Terror” Rapira, but we’re most excited about Singapore’s first female pro boxing champion Nurshahidah “The Sniper” Roslie, who we spoke to last year. The Swedish Embassy is collaborating with The Projector for the second edition of the Swedish Film Festival, with a big focus on iconic Swedish director Roy Andersson, famed for his Living Trilogy and a style marked by absurd, comedic social commentary. Through Feb 19

The weekend’s going to abuzz with all things reggae as music collectives Singapura Dub Club and Global Grooves (Manchester) come together to hold a series of dance and percussion workshops, followed by a pulsating after party featuring live performances by MAS1A and Reggae Remedy at The Projector. ART
This fifth edition of the Singapore Biennale, titled “Atlas of Mirrors”, is in its last couple weeks, showcasing 58 pieces and installations from 60 artists (10 of which are Singaporean) and three art collectives. Keong Saik’s now-regular block party Urban Ventures is back again, with 21 local musicians and acts from Noise Music Mentorship, as well as pole dancers, a street party, an exhibition of infamous local artist SKL0’s new work and more. Feb 18

HEALTH
Join in the fun Safari Zoo Run on either a competitive or non-competitive level across various distances, but make sure you pick one of the four animal icon team as each one supports the conservation of that specific species. Tickets are priced from $40. Feb 18

PARTY
