The Singapore River Festival is on, the Singapore Writers Festival is kicking off with fanfare, there’s a fitness festival at St James Power Station, It’s the Ship is setting sail, The Projector is doing a Back to the Future back-to-back screening and that isn’t even the half of it. It’s going to be a very exciting few days in Singapore.

Post-10pm eating just got very exciting with the launch of Moosehead’s supper series. For the first edition, they are teaming up with the hipster noodle stall and recipient of the Michelin Guide’s Bib Gourmand award, A Noodle Story, for one night at Amoy Street Food Centre. Nov 4

Opening today, the Singapore Writers Festival has commissioned a feature film comprising four shorts by four directors, in four languages.Titled One Hour to Daylight, the film is set in an estate in present-day Singapore, where social and cultural tensions run high. There’ll also be post-show dialogue sessions with the producers, authors, scriptwriter and director. Nov 4 |

South Korean hip-hop sensation Keith Ape is bringing his sick flow to Canvas Singapore. The 22-year-old got his first break when he released the gritty single “It G Ma” last year. He’s been lauded for his live performances, and even made it into The New York Times‘ “All The Best Concerts” list. Nov 4

Non-profit coffee movement Cause, Coffee SG returns with a second pop-up at the Boutique Fairs Singapore shopping event, serving up cups of coffee roasted by the people at Two Degrees North Coffee Co. Back for its third edition, Asia’s second largest electronic dance music festival on board the luxurious Royal Caribbean cruise-liner will set sail for its round trip from Singapore to Penang.
