Uniqlo is opening their first southeast Asian Global Flagship Store right here in Singapore. The new Orchard Central outlet will have three floors that spans over 2,700 sq. meters. Apart from the shopping, check out the interesting elements co-created by local artists throuhgout the store. Sep 2

CLUB
Cherry Discotheque is just one of the new clubs popping up in town this year. Join them in their opening festivities with American-South Korean record producer Choice37, and locals DJs Rattle, Drem and Fvder. Sep 2-4

WORKSHOP
What could be better than learning how to make terrariums while in the company of feline friends? The Green Capsule hosts a workshop at The Company of Cats, which includes two hours of quality time with the cats. Limited slots. Sep 2

PARTY
Revision Music is celebrating their first anniversary with a Good Times party, featuring special guests iyer (aka Nikhil Ramakrishnan) and Young Spice as they bring their flavor of low-frequency bass to Blu Jaz. Sept 2.

Singaporean Film Society and Darpan Singapore is bringing The Apu Trilogy to Golden Village, featuring three great Bengali films directed by Satyajit Ray that have been remastered in 4K. Sep 2-4

FESTIVAL
Fancy food festivals like Savour, Epicurean Market and Chang Sensory Trails are all well and good, but we’re intrigued by this heartland festival doing all the pasar malam favorites. Sep 2-4

FILM
Esplanade’s annual da:ns festival is returning on Oct 13-23, but in the meantime, The Projector is partnering up with Esplanade to screen three dance-related films; two of which are focused on the artistic directors of dance companies Batsheva Dance Company and Tanztheatre Wuppertal. Sep 2-4

ART
You’ve heard of dinner in the dark, but Arts Beyond Sight will have professionally trained visually impaired facilitators to guide visitors through 30 minutes of art in the dark. Sep 2-8

FESTIVAL
There’s a new venue at Esplanade opening for creative business, and they’re launching it with two Annex Sessions gigs featuring the Chok Kerong Organ Trio and In Each Hand A Cutlass. Check out the new Annexe Studio if you’re near. Through Sep 3

FESTIVAL
Esplanade’s long-running Mosaic program returns in a new format. They’re ditching their 10-day “festival” concept for the fresher Mosaic Music Weekend, with acts like UK singer-songwriter Patrick Wolf, Korean electronic band Idiotape, Singapore’s singer-songwriter DEON, and others. Through Sept 4

ART
Singaporean artist Tan Choo Kai has a new collection, National Day Celebration, that’ll showcase his interpretations of natural landscapes and scenery on our fair island at Pan Pacific Singapore’s Public Art Space. Through Oct 31
