The Singapore Night Festival is back with a glitzier theme

The annual nocturnal arts festival is back with more massive light installations, aerial stunts and lots of street artists with fire props and LED lights. Shying away from last year’s more experimental theme, there’s more glitz and glamor (it is the theme, after all) at this year’s edition of The Singapore Night Festival.

Set against the facade of the Singapore Art Museum, expect some 100 acts including flamboyant cabaret routines, stand-up and improv comedy shows, puppet performances and lots of live music by local bands. The Festival Village, located at the SMU Green, is also bigger this year, with local food booths, flea markets and buskers amping up the atmosphere with easy-listening tunes.

The event is happening over two weekends starting Aug 21-22 & 28-29. For more details, head over to their website.
