Singapore now has a restaurant week for vegetarians

We’re no stranger to weekly food festivals like Singapore Restaurant Week, the World Gourmet Summit and this year’s Savour, but the city just got a little cooler with one for vegetarians.

Gourmet Greens week is from Nov 23-29, and many of the city’s chip restaurants are participating, such as Original Sin, Sugarhall, Neon Pigeon and Highlander (Chijmes). All of these places will have an all-vegetarian four-course lunch and dinner ($30 and $45 respectively). Expect stuff like gnocchi and portobello from Highlander, and miso roasted pumpkin and rice from Neon Pigeon. Original Sin is also serving up spinach, feta and tofu patted with plum sauce.

Reservations are through Chope, and open on Nov 16.
