Singapore’s energetic arts and heritage district is gearing up again for a wide array of unique light art installations (a perennial crowd-favorite), a huge puppetry show and other engaging activities when the Singapore Night Festival returns for a ninth time by taking on a more experimental stance to keep in line with the “Inventions and Innovation” theme.
The full highlights are still fuzzy at the moment, but you can expect a new world of adventure at the House of Curiosities, visuals inspired by Victorian novelist Jules Verne project-mapped against the Singapore Art Museum’s facade, the customary Festival Village full of yummy bites and the return of a block party (aka Singapore’s new national pasttime) on Armenian Street.
Singapore Night Festival takes place over two weekends starting Aug 19-20 and Aug 26-27. More details here.
