Hopping (or crawling) between Singapore’s top cocktail bars is all part of the fun of cocktail culture here, but on May 18 at Tippling Club, it’s the city’s best bars that will come to you. Led by Tippling Club’s head bartender Joe Schofield, Once Upon a Time in Singapore brings together Gibson’s Aki Eguchi, Operation Dagger’s Juan Yijun, 28 HongKong Street’s Joma Rivera, Employees Only’s Bai Jiawei and Manhattan’s Philip Bischoff.
Following on from previous Once Upon a Time events, you’ll get five small plates and six cocktails for $155 including Schofield’s sonic-aged Negroni, Eguchi’s Ramos Gin Fizz, Bai’s Gimlet and Bischoff’s Mad Dog. Juan will mix up a concoction that celebrates Chef Ryan Clift’s famed Vegetable Garden dish while Rivera will serve a spicy cider-based number.
