Sorry liver, but there’s another big whisky and wine festival in Singapore this month

Not everyone shares the same enthusiasm for fine wine and authentic whisky, but if you do, then you have another reason to get excited. 1855 The Bottle Shop’s Wine and Whisky Week is back for a second run from Nov 8-13, offering the same one-stop tasting, shopping and education experience as the first. Yes, it’s a free-to-public event.

There’ll be more than 500 labels of wines and spirits from different regions to try over the five-day affair. Highlights include cult wines like the ones from Napa Valley (including the Opus One), the popular Grand Cru Bordeaux wines from renowned wineries such as Chateau Pape Clement, rare whiskies like the Yamazaki and Karuizawa 12, a flagship wine from a micro boutique winery in Australia that is exclusive to 1855 The Bottle Shop and another non-vintage, award-winning champagne that’s only available at 1855 The Bottle Shop in Singapore.

There will also be master classes (you’ll have to pay for these) hosted by some of the featured wineries and brands, but details are still in the works. Keep a look out on their Facebook page and website.
