Things to do afterhours don’t always have to revolve around food, booze, live music or parties now that ArtScience Museum is launching its monthly nighttime event ArtScience Late starting May 22.
Held once a month on a Thursday night (7-10pm), the free-for-all performance series, curated by Singapore-based cultural producer and curator Vanini Belarmino, will showcase the collaboratives works of international and local choreographers, musicians and visual artists that melds art and science.
For the inaugural edition on May 22, catch local beat boxer Charles “Stitch” Wong and video artist Quincy Teofisto of Achtung! Achtung! live. There are also original acts by Filipino dancer Eisa Jocson (who will be working with Japanese-French installation artist Shunsuke Francois Nanjo), local experimental creator Urich Lau, together with sound and performance artist Kai Lam and Japanese musician Yuzuru Maeda.
That’s not all: sign up on ArtScience Museum Facebook page for its May, June and July events to receive a one-for-one beer coupon (limited to the first 100); and get standard tickets to the museum’s touring exhibitions at one-for-one when you purchase yours from 7-10pm on ArtScience Late nights.
