Block parties have been a thing for years now, but it’s always fun to see an unexpected candidate throw one. This time, it’s Singapore’s unofficial furniture hub Tan Boon Liat.
Their party, happening Nov 26-27, involves 20 participating showrooms, and features design workshops, food and wine tastings, seasonal gift ideas, silent auctions, special promos, collection launches, and giveaways over a span of two days.
To refresh your memory, the furniture and homeware paradise includes shops like Fairprice Antique, who sell Chinese antiques and furniture, carpet retailers Hassan’s Carpets, Jehan Gallery and the Beuro, among other gems. The block party will also showcase food and wine tastings from The Providore.
