Keong Saik Road is quickly becoming Singapore’s favorite place for street parties, with the success of last year’s Park(ing) Day and Urban Ventures back for its second edition on Apr 30. Come May 28, it’s Potato Head Folk taking center stage as they play curators at the inaugural Keong Saik Carnival.
Taking place from noon to 10:30pm, the carnival is highlighted by a bazaar with vendors stocking popular street fashion labels, designer goods and collectables (vinyl fans take note). Between these stalls you can expect to find food and drinks from popular Keong Saik Road tenants (including Potato Head Folk’s burgers and cocktails), art installations and cultural activities. There’ll even be a carousel.
You can also look forward to DJ and live music performances throughout the day with the likes of Beijing’s Howie Lee, Shanghai’s ChaCha and Drunk Monk, and local acts like The Observatory taking to two stages along the road.
