Kult Kafe is having a silkscreen print exhibition, Hot Mesh, featuring work from local artists like Adeline Tan and Chris Chai.

Hard Rock Cafe is hosting Leap Back In Time, with bands like London Fog and Jive Talkin’ playing songs by dearly-departed folks like David Bowie, Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston.

CONCERT
Indie music fans, you really need to get your tickets for the arrival of swoony, synth-heavy Bon Iver at the Star Theatre.

Go pig out as Tap is having a beer tasting with cakes from Lady Cake Boss.

There’s a tequila masterclass at Hombre Cantina, where you’ll get to taste a Don Fulano tequila that has a legacy of five generations.

PARTIES

CONCERT
The 1960s soul/funk sensation Kool & The Gang is coming through town,so take your dad to hear  “Summer Madness” and “Get Down on It”. 

PARTIES
Music nerds, head to the Vinyl House Masters party that has DJs Jackster and Sean Doyle as well as Chris Colombus playing house music on vinyl.

Hip new gastrobar Oxwell & Co. is having their first Four Floors of Frolicks event, a brunch party with lots of food on all floors of the place, Oxtail and Mash Pasties on the first floor and Old Fashioned cocktails on the third.

The Effect is in full swing, so go see Adrian Pang and Tan Kheng Hua, who play scientists who make Connie and Tristan, two students who are complete opposites, fall in love in an experiment.
