W Hotels Worldwide and innovative music platform Burn Studios are searching for an Asian representative for the second annual W Hotels & Burn Studios DJ Lab.
DJ Lab is essentially, an exciting bootcamp for up-and-coming DJ talent from around the world. Lasting a week at the W Retreat & Spa Bali – Seminyak this July, this mentorship programme is held in preparation for a global tour hosted at W Hotels and Retreats and will feature master classes by industry experts like Rob Garza of Thievery Corporation and Paul Nolan of SAE Institute.
This year, W Hotels has decided to pick its eighth and final DJ (see the rest of the lineup below), representing Asia, through an online talent search, which happens now through June 15. To join, aspiring DJs can go to whotels.com/music to upload their mix. These will be automatically be entered into the MIX.dj platform, where the public can comment on and vote for their favorites. Entries with the hightest number of votes will be selected to perform at various W Hotels in Asia this May and June.
