This week at I-S HQ: Gourmet fairs, animal antics and where to go to escape the haze

This week, we…

Had a cozy dinner at Balzac Brasserie. Don’t miss their free flow wines for ladies every Wed 7-8pm.

Met Raffles Hotel’s very own in-house historian at the launch of Tourism50 (yep, more SG50 madness).

Feasted on an insane all-pork 7-course meal at Artichoke.

Tried out Virgin Active‘s ZUU class (where you mimic animal movements!), which is all the rage right now.

Wolfed down some airline(!) food for an upcoming story. Sounds nasty all right, but Jetstar‘s were actually pretty decent.

Had a lovely team lunch at our Tiong Bahru Japanese go-to, IKYU.

Checked out open-format gourmet fairs Savour and PasarBella & Friends Go To Town.

Went to the relaunch of Chinatown‘s Food Street: local goodies galore.

Caught a soccer match on Amara Hotel’s new rooftop futsal pitch.

Got flown to Phuket for the star-studded launch of Nikki Beach club and an amazing haze-free stay at Dusit Thani Laguna.
