The Affordable Art Fair returns to the masses from Nov 12-15 at the F1 Pit Building with 85 galleries representing 600 artists from Southeast Asia and Europe. Of course, as per past editions, these works will be priced between $100-$10,000 (which is a rather optimistic definition of affordable, but oh well) and with the traditional Under $1,000 Wall.
There is also an Art Education Space for art dialogues and solo exhibitions by the winners of the fair’s Young Talent Programme (At Source by Ezekiel Wong Kel Win, The Quest: The Exquisite Rice Bowl by Zhang Fuming and Hunger by Khin Thethtar Latt) featuring multi-media works ranging from photography and video installations to hand-print woodcut on paper.
What’s new is a bigger lifestyle twist, and frankly we’re suprised no one thought of this sooner: we heard there are coffee cupping sessions by Common Man Coffee Roasters and bites from Harry’s and art workshops. More information here.
