If you’re looking to hit the streets in style, check out quality arm candy in the form of classy bags and timepieces at Cumulus or trendy ladies cruise wear line Yacht 21 – the independent label is retailing 100 surprise bags (contains a Yacht 21 apparel, limited edition travel pouch and bracelet) at $5. Lily+bling

The market’s the perfect place to go gift-hunting as well! Make a stop at Lemonlambsart for a selection of hand-drawn cards, prints and colouring books, Lily+bling for customizable accessories and curated jewellery collections, or You Living, featuring eco-friendly apparels and handmade accessories. Spruce up your nest with home and lifestyle products inspired by Asian roots from local design studio Onlewo. For your man, you can’t go wrong with a bottle of Class Society SG’s organic solid cologne.

Whilst gift hunting, you’ll also have the opportunity to do your part for charity. Social enterprise Center Pottery will be selling handmade ceramic wares, with proceeds being channeled to their clay classes aimed at aiding the terminally ill, mental health patients and the elderly.

Enjoy local live acts

Of course, what’s a market without live music performances to set the mood? This edition will see the likes of local indie-rock band New Modern Lights and singer Codie Lo, who will put their own unique spin on popular songs for your listening pleasure.
