Gillman Barracks’ is holding its last Saturday open house for the year, with lots of events like the UNDER 20 joint galleries group show (to make art more affordable for people), and CCA’s Jam Session #2, which is a live performance by “arachnids” and local artist Bani Haykal that is also a part of the Tomás Saraceno: Arachnid Orchestra. Another highlight includes Benny Ong, designer of his label, The Ong, who will showcase his recent work at Gillman Barracks’ Block 5, Lock Road #01-06. His prints, “Queen,” “Buddha in the City of London,” and “Peranakan” explore the boundaries of art, design and couture. The guest gallery from Jakarta ROH Projects, will stage Effervescence, a show with artwork from Indonesian artists.
