DiverseCity 2014

DiverseCity 2014 is the third edition of the Singapore International Foundation’s (SIF) biennial arts and culture showcase. This year the festival hopes to celebrate the role of Singaporean artists in helping to foster international relationships through cross-cultural exchanges and collaborations. The multidisciplinary three-month showcase will feature 187 collaborative art projects by 127 artists from countries including Singapore, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia and the UK.

Featured highlights include talks by Dr Chua Soo Pong, the founder of the non-profit Chinese Opera Institute; Esther Joosa, an arts education consultant who tells the stories of HIV patients in India and Zann Huizhen Huang, a self-taught photojournalist who documents the historic Tanjong Pagar Railway Station.
