Aliwal Urban Art Festival

Party organizers Sideshow (who are behind the wildly successful Sunday at the Training Shed) curate this music-meets-art fest with funk, rock and hip hop bands, DJs, dancers, live street art and video projections. Of note: samba-influenced mega-collective Wicked Aura, funk/soul band The Mighty Mighty, rising hip hop star Shigga Shay, broody electronica producer Gema, plus a skate (car)park, B-boy battle and an installation by Kult magazine founder Mojoko and Chinese artist Shang.
