World renowned pianist and former professor at NYU Tan Wei Xiang’s band Grupo Clave is a contemporary jazz group with South American influences. At this recital, Grupo Clave will play Wei’s compositions and arrangements, featuring special guest trumpetist Miki Hirose, a familiar face of the New York salsa scene.
