A famed Tokyo bartender Shuzo Nagumo of Condename Mixology and Mixology Laboratory helms the stick for this 10-day cocktail affair. Nov 4-8 is Japan Cocktail Week where he showcases 16 different cocktails using ingredients like cask-matured sake, amazake, raw sake, kinako and yuzu. He’ll be serving cocktails like the Ogre Manhattan, grilled miso chocolate Martini and Umami Mary.
From Nov 11-14, 17 cocktails from Shuzo’s bar will be available with kooky ingredients like foie gras, wasabi, cheese, bamboo leaves and grilled miso. Libations include wasabi gin & tonic, Hinoki wood mule and nitro foie gras & pumpkin cup. Drinks start at around $20.
