This film series returns with two rare (and previously banned) films: Saint Jack (Mar 11) and Pretty Polly (Mar 18). Saint Jack, an adaption of Paul Theroux’s novel, tells the tale of Jack Flowers, a moral pimp who schemes and dreams across landscapes in 1970s Singapore. On the other hand, Pretty Polly is a big-budget adaptation of Noel Coward’s acidic Singapore-set short story about the country as a hedonistic playground from swinging adults and romantic liberation.
