A sleek non-combat studio located on the trendy Telok Ayer Street, Uppercut was created to be an all-inclusive space for both veteran boxers and first-timers to the sport. Classes are divided into Undercard—a 50-minute foundation class for those with no experience, to lay down footwork and basic boxing punches—and Overthrow, a dynamic burnout class testing strength and stamina to enhance knockout combinations; both are powered by upbeat soundtracks of hip-hop, EDM and House music. All clean white lines and natural lighting, the studio houses a total of 11 floor stations and 11 Aqua Training bags, as well as the star attraction: a chic 3m by 3m boxing ring with wooden poles.
