Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants returns this year with a live awards ceremony

Every year, the world’s best chefs, restaurateurs, gourmands, and throngs of foodies from all over come together to celebrate the best of gastronomy and culinary achievements with the unveiling of the 50 Best list.

Curated and put together by over 300 leaders in the restaurant industry across Asia, Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants was launched in 2013 and has remained a steadfast guide to discovering the best culinary experiences around the continent. Coming back with a bang since its last full-scale event in 2019, the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants revelation ceremony will return on Mar 28 this year – mark your calendars!

With this in-person awards ceremony, the event also boasts a return to Singapore after travelling across multiple Asian cities last year. In collaboration with the Singapore Tourism Board, Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants is also celebrating its 10th year milestone this year – fittingly returning to Singapore, where it first debuted, for the anniversary.

Celebrating the richness and diversity of Asian cuisines, this year’s exciting programme will present highlights such as the first Asia-based 50 Best Signature Sessions, teaming chefs from around the world up with our homegrown talents, the traditional Chefs’ Feast, showcasing the region’s finest produce and cooking, and a star-studded awards ceremony.

As part of the annual programme, a series of special awards will be announced prior to the official ceremony this year, including Asia’s Best Female Chef Award, the Icon Award – Asia, and the American Express One To Watch Award. Restaurants ranked from 51 to 100 will also be announced in the weeks leading up to the awards night.

Fans who’re unable to attend the ceremony in person may catch the livestream on the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants Facebook page and 50 Best Restaurants TV YouTube channel.
