Design Assemblies is an exhibition showcasing Italian style in home design. It aims to spread a creative culture through the exchange of ideas and practices, as well as develop opportunities for international collaborations and market expansions by connecting Italian designers and producers with Asian practitioners, real estate developers and suppliers for integrated and innovative design solutions.
Presented through the cultural manifestations of Piedmont, whose capital, Torino, is designated as UNESCO Creative City for Design and is the first World Design Capital, the exhibition features projects, products and activities that are carried out within the Piemonte Home Design project.
Piemonte Home Design introduces “Made in Italy” to foreign markets through finished model homes of authentic Italian craftsmanship. It is an initiative launched by Torino Chamber of Commerce and Politecnico di Torino to meet the need to customise the domestic environment through easy, fast, and flexible project solutions.
Francesco Carota and Francesca Frassoldati organised an exhibition in collaboration with Calibro Zero, Id Integrated, Club Asia and Bonucchi e Associati. It is presented by the Torino Chamber of Commerce, with Politecnico di Torino and China Room.
A community event of Singapore Design Week 2023, ‘Design Assemblies’ runs from Sep 22 to 25 at Stamford Arts Centre in the Bras Basah Bugis district.
