Fila took centre court at the historic Tanglin Club on Dec 2. For the first time, the club hosted its Christmas Tennis Tournament 2023 in partnership with the lifestyle sports brand.
It was a fitting collaboration and a memorable celebration of fashion, sport, and heritage. Fila’s rich history (112 years of history and counting) and the timeless legacy of Tanglin Club provided the ideal backdrop to enjoy a game of tennis in both comfort and style.
The tournament kicked off with a children’s clinic in the early afternoon where the little ones had a chance to learn the basics, flex their skills and boost their coordination, followed by adult tennis matches filled with camaraderie and competition.
But Fila made the event a more interactive experience, starting at the lobby of the Sports Centre where club members were able to view an installation highlighting Fila’s partnership with top tennis stars such as John Isner, and former world number ones Karolina Pliskova and Ashleigh Barty.
Near the courts, they were introduced to Fila’s Heritage tennis collection on an Instagrammable photo wall of the brand’s products, and got the chance to feel and buy them during the tournament.
