Disney enthusiasts visiting Singapore’s Jewel Changi Airport can now experience a new level of magic as the airport unveils a series of Disney-themed activities and retail options that will delight guests of all ages. Paying tribute to nearly 100 years of iconic storytelling from The Walt Disney Company, Disney100 is a spectacular celebration with something for everyone to enjoy.
Featuring some of Disney’s most iconic characters, the Disney100 Light & Sound Show transports us into a magical Disney world through a medley of memorable Disney songs and snippets from Disney films on the HSBC Rain Vortex. Undoubtedly one of the event’s main attractions, the show is masterfully curated by the internationally acclaimed water feature design firm WET.
Welcomed by a 4-metre tall platinum statue of Mickey Mouse at the North Entrance to Shiseido Forest Valley, enter and explore 10 Disney-themed photo spots on display at Jewel throughout this period. Inspired by scenes from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars movies and shows, these interactive photo spots will be available from now till Apr 09. Look out for Mickey Mouse from his debut film Steamboat Willy, as well as scenes from Winnie the Pooh, The Lion King, Encanto, Toy Story, Up, and Inside Out, and more!
Disney fans can also shop to their hearts’ content at the Disney-themed Year of the Rabbit Tsum Tsum pop-up store found in Jewel’s Basement 1. The store will be open till the end of February 2023, before The Wonder Store, with its exclusive range of Disney100-themed merchandise, takes its place.
Beyond that, the Shiseido Forest Valley is filled with interactive exhibits and displays that bring beloved Disney stories to life, including exciting Disney-themed games and activities that visitors can all participate in.
