Exciting news for sneakers fans in Singapore and the region, the world’s premier sneaker event is finally making its way to this side of the world, making its debut in Southeast Asia at the Singapore Expo on Apr 01 and 02.
A leading platform that brings the global sneaker community together both physically and online, Sneaker Con SEA furthers the event’s label as “The Greatest Sneaker Show on Earth” by bringing the experience closer to home, where sneakerheads here can conveniently search, present, and trade sneakers through their dedicated marketplace.
Celebrating the love for rare designs, exclusive drops, and the most coveted releases, the inaugural Sneaker Con SEA in Singapore aims to attract sneakerheads from around Southeast Asia, as well as bridge the gap between regional and global brands and designers.
Street culture aficionados will absolutely be thrilled at the event, presenting two full days of exciting activities for them to immerse in. At the Marketplace, explore the bulk of Sneaker Con SEA’s extensive display of shoes, with over 200 local and international brands coming together in one space, or head over to the Trading Pit, where anyone can buy, sell, trade, or simply network with fellow sneakerheads from all over the world.
Fans can also look forward to the Ace of Customs competition, where participants will get to customise their own sneakers and showcase it to judges and personalities from within the sneaker community. There’s even a free authentication station at the event for all attendees so you can easily get your Legit Check.
Other highlights happening at Sneaker Con SEA is the appearance of the visionary Jeff Staple, founder of STAPLE and amongst the most prominent figures on the global streetwear and youth culture scene. Mark Ong (aka Mr. Sabotage) and Mandeep Chopra will also be gracing the event as they both celebrate 20 years of shaking the sneaker scene here with their respective SBTG and Limited Edt brands.
