The Singapore Edition, the brand’s first Southeast Asia outpost, is no different. The newly opened hotel channels the “dynamic energy of a major metropolitan city with a warm-weather resort sensibility”.

Designed by renowned Safdie Architects led by Moshe Safdie, and local studio DP Architects, The Singapore Edition unfolds over six light-filled floors and its 204 rooms and suites.

Guests are ensured a comfortable and serene haven. Greenery is integrated throughout, including a skypark and leafy conservatory. The latter alone is home to over 300 plants and 162 suspended preserved fern spheres, all born in Southeast Asia, offering a tranquil escape from Singapore’s bustling Orchard Road shopping district.

Every level of the hotel takes on a different personality. The white-marbled lobby welcomes with a domed ceiling covered with gold leaf, floor-to-ceiling windows and a soaring biophilic green wall. The Lobby Bar is an example of timeless elegance with Christian Liaigre leather chairs and Lalique-inspired crystal decanters and sculptures. 

The Edition’s signature bar concept Punch Room is an intimate cocoon not unlike a classic London gentleman’s club, while the Roof provides a lush semi-al fresco setting to enjoy the tropical breeze and the largest hotel rooftop pool (43-metres from tip to tip) in the Orchard Road district. 

Also brimming with tropical foliage is the timber-decked garden courtyard – the heart of the hotel’s elongated rectangular shape – which leads into the event spaces and bar lounge.

Another highlight is the signature restaurant by multi-award-winning Australian chef, restaurateur and author Josh Niland. Named FYSH at EDITION, the restaurant is Niland’s first restaurant outside of Australia and features a menu of sustainable seafood-focused steakhouse-inspired dishes alongside responsibly sourced vegetables and meats.

Finally, for the ultimate relaxation, head to the spa on the second level which features seven treatment rooms, sunken vitality thermal pools and an ice fountain.
