The world’s first CATBAKE outlet launches in Singapore

For the love of fine pastries and adorable treats, fans in Singapore will be delighted to know that Japan’s renowned Neko Neko Shokupan has now arrived on our shores with a brand new incarnation.

Brought to us by pâtissier-cum-chef Shinya Tajima, the creator of the adorable cat-themed bread, the world’s first CATBAKE outlet showcases a mouth-watering variety of baked goods that, of course, highlight the bakery’s cat theme.

Located at The Star Vista, CATBAKE’s adorable motifs and exquisite finesse is presented through their extensive range of breads, cakes, and pastries. Fans and diners can look forward to signatures that include perennial classics like the Croque Monsieur with an added Japanese-inspired touch, a simple-looking Cat Cheesecake that hides two decadent layers of cheesecakes with light tangy notes, and the truly indulgent Cat Chocolate Cake available in both original and dark chocolate variations.

Other highlights to absolutely go for include the Cat French Toast, with hints of vanilla and cinnamon, or Cat Toast with Gelato for a cold treat amidst our tropical days, and their irresistible Caramel Banana Danish.

As part of their mission to showcase a refined dessert experience, patrons at CATBAKE will also find Hokkaido-made chocolates from CACAOCAT and chocolate ice cream from Chocolate Origin – brands which have since been acquired by Chef Shinya after winning him over with their consistency, dedication, high quality, and impressive taste.
