The 2,600-square-foot space offers keyboard enthusiasts an end-to-end hands-on experience to customise their keyboard designed to their specific needs, with experts ready to guide them through every step of the way.
Mix and match
The store revolves around three key stations which are intuitively designed to help create the dream build. There are endless possibilities of combinations at each station, so we suggest taking your time to explore, touch and feel the various elements. Whether you choose to build a retro IBM Model M-inspired keyboard or a mechanical backlit wired one for gaming – it’s all up to you.
The first station focuses on the base, and there are a variety of styles, materials and sizes to fit different preferences and needs. At the second station, select your favourite switches, with options that cater to various typing experiences and sound profiles. Do you prefer a soft silent touch or are you the tactile clacky type? The third station is all about keycaps, where a wide range of colours, shapes and materials are available to personalise the look and feel of the keyboard.
Once these steps are completed, move to the final station to assemble and test your one-of-a-kind creation before taking it home. “Think of it like building a Lego set – fun, customisable and uniquely yours,” says associate manager Ashley Chua.
