Homed inside a former theatre at Marina Bay Sands, Marquee Singapore makes its mark as Singapore’s biggest nightclub. The project between MBS and international nightlife and hospitality company Tao Group—also responsible for gems like Lavo—occupies a soaring three floors and 2,300 sqm, with sufficient dancing space and private alcoves to alternate between throughout the night.
First things first, get your booze fix from any of the four full-service bars, named after the four cities where Marquee resides: Sydney, Las Vegas, New York and Singapore. The dance floor and DJ stage sit at the front of the club in easy view wherever you are, surrounded by 8K high-definition screens, vividly theatrical lighting, and a state-of-the-art sound system.
Taking cue from festival culture, an obvious highlight of the club is The Big Q—a fully operational, eight-cabin Ferris wheel that’s a first in Singapore. Each cabin comes equipped with a touch-pad camera that doubles as a GIF photobooth, while offering bird’s eye views of the club from the top. If it’s adrenaline you’re after, have a go at Sunny Slide Up: two spiraling tube slides lit with LED lights, whizzing you from the highest level of the club down to the ground.
Carnival amenities aside, Marquee brings to our sunny island a truly novel nightlife experience—one founded in the expensive, all-attainable glamour of Las Vegas partying. You don’t need a table to feel welcome or to have a great night out. Here, everyone can feel elite.
