This local microbrewery is inspired by the family’s own home-brewed beer. They plan to infuse local flavors into their brews and have an ale with manuka honey in the works. In the meantime, enjoy beers from Brewerkz as well as light and dark ales from other local microbrewery, Hospoda Brewery.
The food selection is also contemporary with offerings like potato and chicken skins ($12), beer batter shrimp ($22) and chargrilled beef burger with chicken pate ($24). They even have a herb garden growing in the back alley for use in their drinks and food.
In terms of drinks, it doesn’t stop with beer. The owners have curated a selection of both new and old world wines to complement their bespoke cocktail bar that is inspired by the 1920s. In the mornings, they also serve air roasted coffee through the walk-by window at the front of the industrial space.
