Bourbon Street

There has been a lot of fussing about whisky lately, with a few specialty bars opening around town. It’s about time bourbon got the same love. Bourbon Street on Club Street is a narrow, moody place with dim lights, exposed brick and industrial-style hanging lamps. The theme here, as you can imagine from the name, is New Orleans.

Expect a wide selection of bourbon, including top shelf stuff, and classic bourbon cocktails like the Mint Julep. On the food front, it’s equally classic: chicken and waffles, shrimp and chicken gumbo and the like.
