Lucky 13

Buzz: This “Miami-style” diner, bar and club is the brainchild of Michel Lu, formerly of The Privé Group.Décor: Lucky13 has a mash-up of many themes and settings including, but not limited to, a long bar, wooden floorboards, a brick feature wall, riveted leather-topped tables, peculiar portraits of a mustachioed and tattooed man, the private Viper Lounge area, communal-style tables and an al fresco area.Drinks: Among their respectable selection of beers ($13-16), wines (from $13 a glass and $65 a bottle) and spirits ($13-27 a glass) are a few unusual but no less enticing drops like Kraken Black Spiced Rum from Trinidad and Tobago and Basil Hayden 8YO Bourbon. Signature cocktails ($15-22) include two intriguing takes on the Old Fashioned (cinnamon grapefruit and bacon-infused), the pisco sour clasico and a mixed berry caipiroska.Music: A DJ spinning hip-hop, RnB and the like.Crowd: Shoppers and professionals looking for a bite and a drink off the main Orchard Road stretch. Why we’ll be back: The food and signature cocktails—they’re seriously addictive.
