Part of Massive Collective’s operation at newly opened boutique hotel South Beach Quarter, Vanity is upping the glam factor at the Kampong Glam/Beach Road nightlife scene. Apart from its cozy, lounge setting and over-the-top fashion theme, it’s got a line-up of both in house and guest mixologists, led by our beloved Ricky Paiva, who started out in this town at Manhattan.
Apart from creating the bar staples like bespoke cocktails and sip-worthy mixes, he curates a weekly cocktail program inspired by the fashion world. His Envy Me ($12), mixes of bourbon, Aperol, Amaro Nonino and fresh lemon and is inspired by Gucci. Another intriguing mix is the No.5 ($12), an homage to the iconic Coco Chanel, is a mix of vodka, lemon, housemade lavender syrup, housemade rose water, egg white and of course, Champagne.
Also, look out for featured mixologists who pop by Vanity, like Jay Grey (formerly of London’s Worship Street Whistling Shop) who’s served alongside bar greats like Tristan Stephenson, Matthew Hoffman Wiley and Ryan Chetiyawardana.
