You may already be a user of McDonald’s branded apps like McDelivery and McDonald’s My Feedback, but now, you can have the functionality of those and more on their newly launched (since Jul 22) app available on App Store and Google Play that’s simply called McDonald’s.
It’s first and foremost an app all about the American fast food chain that has taken over our childhood hearts long before it had gained global dominance with their Happy Meals and clever takes on local favourites; damn, that Nasi Lemak Burger is actually really good.
On it, you get a McDonald’s news feed, a restaurant locator, nutritional information, claimable offers and deals, as well as McDelivery and McDonald’s My Feedback functions incorporated, so you now only need one app to get all your McDonald’s needs sorted. We reckon it’s only a matter of time before the McCafe Devotee app goes onboard too.
Currently, all new users get to enjoy an awesome $1 Filet-O-Fish with any purchase. To redeem deals, open up the deal you want in-app, then tap on “Activate” to bring up a QR code where you can scan at self-ordering kiosks or show to staff at the counter. If you’re at a drive-thru, tap on the QR code to bring up a deal code that you can read out to the staff.
The deals are offered even overseas too, at over 45 participating markets such as Malaysia, Indonesia and South Korea. Just remember to ensure your smartphone’s location settings are updated accordingly.
