Boutique food festival Eatbox returns to Downtown East for its next edition

The 2020 food festivals have begun lining up, and this Feb 21-Mar 1, you’ll be in for a treat as Eatbox makes its return to Downtown East for two weekends.

Known as the boutique version of Artbox, Eatbox 2020 will be taking guests on a journey through three different countries as they serve up delicacies from Hong Kong, Indonesia, and of course, Singapore.

These three countries boast many culinary gems, and the food festival has been offering hints of what might be seen at the event. Based on depictions posted on their social media accounts, we’re thinking along the lines of dim sum, chicken rice, mee bakso and roast duck. But don’t just take our word for it, check out their Instagram as they continue to drop clues in the days leading up to the festival.

Meanwhile, already confirmed vendors include Loco Loco offering up their churros, Genesis Sausage with their sausages made using premium cuts of meat, and popular market drink stall Broti.

Don’t forget that there’ll be street art, performances and even live food challenges, so expect those as well. In fact, to get us all excited about the upcoming food paradise, Eatbox has also left a little cereal box at Downtown East to be discovered. So head on over to find it; you stand a chance to win a special prize when you post a photo of the object and tag the festival on Instagram.

Eatbox is held at Downtown East D’Marquee Open Plaza 1&2, from Feb 21-23, Feb 28-29 and Mar 1. Find more information here.
