Impress your date with a sky-high, private Japanese dining experience

Missing Japan? Then check out an experiential dining experience that literally scales new heights with Fly Me to Japan, Mount Faber Leisure Group’s new limited-time programme which is happening now till Dec 30 in partnership with the Japan National Tourism Organisation (JNTO).

Celebrating 55 years of Singapore-Japan relations, Fly Me to Japan follows the success of Fly Me to Italy, by serving up breathtaking views to go with an exquisite Japanese menu as diners will be enjoying their meal aboard a Singapore Cable Car cabin.

The intimacy each cabin affords is perfect for couples looking to spend a romantic and memorable evening dining in the sky. Considering current regulations, this is probably the ideal date night material to surprise your significant other.

Created by Mount Faber Leisure Group’s Executive Chef Kenny Yeo, the menu features an intricate mix of textures and flavours that represent the various delicate facets of Japanese cuisine, along with Chef Yeo’s added personal touch.

Beginning at Mount Faber Peak’s Arbora Hilltop Garden & Bistro, diners will indulge in a scenic pre-dining episode of drinks and appetisers, where they may also take the opportunity to pen wishes, hang them at the Arbora Garden, and ring Poland’s Bells of Happiness as rites of happiness and fulfilment.

It is then off to a private cable car cabin for the main course and dessert as the view of Singapore’s southern bay unfolds all around them. The time onboard will last for approximately one hour, where diners are taken on two cable car round trips—so they get to savour every moment of their meal and every detail of the breathtaking view.
