The popular joint offers an eight-course weekday afternoon tea set on weekdays and a high tea buffet during the weekends. The latter menu changes every three months and currently includes canapés, like goose liver parfait, as well as classics like raisin chia seed scones and risotto arancini. The dessert spread is extensive and includes blood orange fruit paste, lemon mille-feuille and yogurt parfaits. $58++.

Café Mosaic

Open Sat-Sun 12-4pm for high tea

Menu highlights: Cafe Mosaic’s weekend high tea menu includes stalwart items such as fresh oysters and sashimi as well as Japanese tempura, roasted beef strip loin, braised duck with sea cucumber, congee, salted egg pork ribs and of course, chocolate fondue to end it all on a sweet note. $48++ with free flow of hot drinks. UOB and DBS cardholders get a 15% discount.

The Knolls

Menu highlights: At The Knolls, you can choose from the English Tea, Japanese Tea, Peranakan Tea and Nonya Tea sets, which consist of classic items like smoked salmon and egg and chive sandwiches, lemon pound cake, unagi tamago rolls, matcha profiteroles and even otak-otak sandwiches. Tea sets start at $39.90++ and OCBC credit cardholders enjoy 15% off.

The Landing Point

Menu highlights: This lovely waterside cafe offers luxe offerings like Boston lobster cornet, smoked salmon mille-feuille with caviar, duck confit crepe roulade and cucumber sandwich with ikura, served on a classic 3-tiered plate. $45++ with a free flow of coffee and TWG teas. HSBC cardholders enjoy a 10% discount every day.

L’Espresso

Open Mon-Thu 2-5:30pm; Fri Sun 12noon-2:30pm (1st seating), 3-5:30pm (2nd seating) for high tea

Menu highlights: L’Espresso scores brownie points for presenting a high tea menu in Singapore with a decidedly English accent—creole salmon with tartar sauce finger sandwiches, smoked eel with Granny Smith salad on rye crostini and five different types of cakes (try their signature royal chocolate crunchy hazelnut) make this one a sure-win with the ladies. $45++.

Shangri-La Hotel‘s Rose Veranda

Menu highlights: There are 164 blends of tea at this quaint, rose-scented spot. We recommend the Shangri-La, a black tea blended with white flowers and exotic fruits that pairs superbly with any of the daily special tea sorbets. For food, choose from either an English or Singapore high tea menu. $45++, includes free flow of one tea blend.

The Regent Singapore’s Tea Lounge

Menu highlights: You may not need dinner after this high tea. Singapore buffet favorites make an appearance here, as do an assortment of signature items like their roasted wagyu rump, smoked cod carpaccio, avruga caviar, duck rillette, soft-shell crabs, kumquat cheesecake and red currant scones. They also have station serving gelato, crepes and Belgian waffles. $64++.

Tiffin Room

Open Mon-Sun 3-5:30pm for high tea

Menu highlights: Come to the famed Tiffin Room for classic English high tea, Singapore-style. The Tiffin Room offers both a buffet spread with a fruits theme and a three-tier afternoon tea set, which consists of sacher torte and warm scones with clotted cream and homemade jams.  $58++ with free flow of hot coffee and tea.
