Metal cages and sequins are not what you’d expect of the typical high tea. But that’s what you get at Drop the T² at W Singapore.
The tea set is priced at $58 for two (or $98 for two, with bubbly) and the food’s served up in a bird cage. You eat it at the WOOBAR, while seated on lounge chairs decorated with purple and gold sequined cushions.
Their tea time bites are not what you’d expect too. There are chocolate foie gras tartlets and the scones come with not the usual old jam but some lovely passionfruit curd. Wash all of it down with a range of Dilmah teas (the Seasonal Flush tea is our pick). Edgy, creative tea—who would have thought?
