Nara Thai Cuisine (#B3-21 ION Orchard, 2 Orchard Turn, 6634-5787)—which has two outlets in Bangkok—is set to open on September 12 at mega mall ION Orchard with 112 seats. The menu should include spicy fare like tom yum soup, soft-shell crab with yellow curry and boat noodles, with bills expected to come up to $30 per head. And judging from the traditional snacks they sent over (moreish banana chips and Thai fortune cookies)—a pre-opening teaser—the food should be pretty swell.
